Element groups are named sets of reference images, up to three per group and four groups per generation. Each group can be given a name, so the model knows which visual reference a term in your prompt points to. That is what keeps a specific character, product, or object consistent through the clip.

Yes. Start Frame sets the opening look and Last Frame steers where the clip ends up. Both are optional. The start frame is the usual way to animate a still you have already approved rather than gambling on a text prompt reproducing the composition.
Sound Generation is off by default. Turn it on when you want audio produced alongside the video. If you already have a sound design pass or plan to generate audio separately, leave it off and layer your own track instead.
